Back to news NOVEMBER 16, 2020

Statewide non-profit advocacy organization, Preserve Rhode Island, and Rhode Island’s state historic preservation office, the Rhode Island Historical Preservation and Heritage Commission, awarded two MHA Boston projects, Church Hill Grammar School (Caragh Development) and Miss Lorraine Diner (Jonathan Savage), with 2020 Rhody Historic Preservation Project Awards this fall. The awards honor projects that protect Rhode Island’s historic character and sense of place. The MHA-sponsored Rhody Awards for Historic Preservation took place virtually this year with a ceremony broadcast from the State House on Capitol TV on Sunday, November 15th. A Winners Tour celebrating all of the honored projects spanning Rhode Island will take place next year.
